Friday 31 October -

National Theatre Live present
an Encore screening of

Frankenstein

Starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the Creature

National Theatre Live’s thrilling broadcast of Frankenstein returns to cinemas and theatres for a limited time, due to unprecedented audience demand.

Childlike in his innocence but grotesque in form, Frankenstein’s bewildered Creature is cast out into a hostile universe by his horror-struck maker. Meeting with cruelty wherever he goes, the friendless Creature, increasingly desperate and vengeful, determines to track down his creator and strike a terrifying deal in this thrilling and deeply disturbing classic gothic tale.

Directed by Danny Boyle this version is unique – the two actors, Johnny Lee Miller and Benedict Cumberbatch alternate between playing Victor Frankenstein and his Creature. We will show both versions with Johnny Lee Miller as the creature on Thursday 30th and Benedict Cumberbatch on Friday 31st
