Five winning companies from Bristol, Avon, Totton and Somerset perform their award winning plays before an experienced adjudicator who gives constructive criticism of their productions, covering technical and design aspects as well as acting and direction.

The AETF – All England Theatre Festival – runs festivals throughout England and the winners of our Festival will go forward to the English Final at The Gladstone Theatre, Port Sunlight on June 7th where they will compete to become the English Champions and go forward to The British Final at The Garrick Theatre, Lichfield on July 4th and 5th.

Our Festivals have a great record for supporting original playwriting so you are often able to see interesting new plays as well as established favourites.
