BOOKING GUIDELINES

Box office

The box office is situated at the stage door from Monday to Friday 10am-12pm. It is also open in the evenings one hour before the performance.

Concessions

Concessionary rates are available for children, students in full-time education and those claiming welfare benefits. Please bring proof of eligibility when collecting tickets.

Refunds

The Merlin Theatre is unable to offer refunds for tickets. However, if an event is cancelled, we will contact you as soon as possible and refund you the full amount of the ticket price.
Please note that the refund insurance offered by X.Cover.com when booking is a third party and not associated with the Merlin Theatre. The trust is not responsible for payouts when this insurance has been purchased.

Groups

For every ten tickets booked for one event, the eleventh is free (subject to availability). Contact the box office for details.

Schools and colleges

ACCESS

The Merlin aims to be accessible and welcoming to all and we are committed to making your visit as easy and enjoyable as possible. All events are seated including those outside in the E.C.O.S. Amphitheatre.

Facilities include

> Seating in the foyer, with a fully stocked bar, tea, coffee, confectionary and ice-creams. Drinks and food purchased from the venue can be taken into the auditorium.

> Seating for wheelchair users allowing companions to sit beside them, and flat floor access to avoid steps. Please book at least 24 hours in advance by emailing merlintheatreoffice@gmail.com

> A limited number of level and marked parking spaces outside the main entrance for those with additional access needs, accessible through the gate leading to the Wyvern Nursery. Please email merlintheatreoffice@gmail.com at least 24 hours in advance of performance to book a parking space. Currently we are unable to offer electric charging bays.

> Our seats are 17" in width. Please email our box office merlintheatreoffice@gmail.com to discuss any accessibility requirements.

> Loop system covering the whole auditorium (please check availability so we can ensure the system is ready for you).

> Large-print or audio publicity material can be provided if required. If you are visually impaired and require assistance during your visit, please inform our Front of House team.

> A fully inclusive WC, suitable for wheelchair users. Also includes a baby changing station.

> Assistance Animals are welcome throughout the building.

GETTING HERE

By road
The Merlin Theatre is situated just off Bath Rd heading out of Frome towards Bath on the campus of Frome College.

Free parking is available. Please allow plenty of time as the carpark can get very busy. Additional parking is available within the Frome College campus. Follow the signs for our disabled parking, continuing straight through into the college grounds. Do not turn left by the foyer as this is reserved for the disabled parking spaces.

By bus
The services below stop at Bath Rd near the theatre. Other services run to Frome, please contact the operators listed below for exact routes and times.

By train
Frome Train Station is located on Station Approach, Wallbridge in Frome. It is just under 1 mile from the theatre.
